Isaac Balami University of Aeronautics to Enhance Nigeria's Security and Reduce Foreign Dependence

The founder, Dr. Isaac Balami, of Isaac Balami University of Aeronautics, announced plans to boost Nigeria's security and reduce foreign dependence by training experts in aerospace engineering and aviation systems.

During an inspection tour in Lagos, Dr. Balami highlighted the university's focus on developing highly skilled professionals capable of maintaining surveillance aircraft and drones for security operations.

The curriculum goes beyond traditional university requirements, emphasizing practical training and exposure to real-world scenarios. The university, supported by the Nigerian government and Borno State, offers programs to produce qualified professionals to safeguard critical infrastructure and assets.

Dr. Bala Isa from the Borno State Scholarship Board expressed satisfaction with the facilities and preparations for aeronautical training, with the state sponsoring pilot and engineering students.

The university's goal is to become a research and innovation hub, producing indigenous aircraft and drone systems tailored to Nigeria's security needs.
