Bandits Attack Kebbi Community, Burn NSCDC Checkpoint

On a Saturday, bandits attacked the Tsamiya community in the Bagudo Local Government Area of Kebbi State, setting ablaze a checkpoint belonging to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC). During the raid, a resident named Bashir Usman was abducted.

The police spokesperson, Bashir Usman, disclosed the details of the incident in a statement, confirming that the assailants also set fire to a local brothel. In response to the attack, Alhaji Yusuf Bazamfar, the police command, has deployed tactical personnel to Tsamiya to investigate the incident.

Efforts are ongoing to rescue the abducted victim and apprehend those responsible for the attack. The police command has assured the residents of Tsamiya that they are committed to restoring normalcy and ensuring public safety.

Usman urged community members to remain vigilant and cooperate with security agencies by providing information to aid ongoing operations.
