Bandits Kidnap Pastor's Son in Ondo State Attack

In the early hours of June 5, 2026, at approximately 1:30 AM, armed bandits invaded the Igbosi area of Idogun in Ondo State, leading to the destruction of two houses and the kidnapping of nine-year-old Oluwatobi, son of Pastor Isaac Olaosebikan. The attack caused panic among residents, prompting many to flee their homes for safety.

Pastor Olaosebikan attempted to escape the assault but was forced to leave his son behind. The Ondo State Police Command, under the direction of CP Felix Ohagwu, has initiated an intensive manhunt for the kidnappers and launched a coordinated search and rescue operation with the Amotekun Corps.

DSP Abayomi confirmed the ongoing efforts to rescue the victim and apprehend the perpetrators, while local vigilante groups are also involved to ensure justice is served.
