Ondo State Government Launches Manhunt for Kidnappers

The Ondo State government has launched a manhunt for the kidnappers of Victor Olaosebikan's 9-year-old son, who was abducted in the early hours of Friday by armed men in Igbosi Community, located in Idogun, Osun Local Government Area. In response to this incident, the government has coordinated a joint security operation involving personnel from the Amotekun Corps, Nigeria Police Force, Department of State Services, and military units to carry out rescue operations.

The state government has urged residents, particularly those in affected communities, to remain calm while assuring them that efforts are being made to secure the victim's safe release. The Ondo State government has also stated that it is closely monitoring the security situation and has implemented preliminary security measures to strengthen intelligence gathering and ongoing search operations to apprehend the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
