Bandits Kidnap Pastor's Son in Ondo Community Attack

On Friday, armed men invaded Igbosi Quarter in Idogun, Ondo State, around 1:30 AM, creating panic among residents. During the attack, they kidnapped nine-year-old Oluwatobi, the son of local pastor Isaac Olaosebikan, while damaging two homes and causing residents to flee to nearby communities for safety.

The Ondo State Police Command confirmed the incident and initiated a rescue operation to locate the abducted child and bring the perpetrators to justice. Reports indicate that the pastor managed to escape into the bush during the attack, leaving his son behind.

Following the incident, police and Amotekun Corps personnel were deployed to conduct search and rescue operations across the forest, as investigations commenced to track the attackers. Felix Ohagwu, the police public relations officer, stated that efforts are underway to secure the safe release of the victim and apprehend the suspects, with collaboration from local vigilante groups to enhance security in the area.
