Armed Men Kidnap Family of Three in Kaduna

On Monday around midnight, armed men kidnapped a family of three in Kaduna. The attack occurred when the assailants stormed the area, firing gunshots to scare residents and abducting five individuals.

An elderly woman, who was part of the incident, was later found abandoned in a forest after she could not keep pace with the kidnappers. She reported the incident, leading to the discovery of the situation.

The wife of the house owner was discovered an hour later, having fled from the gunmen. Following the incident, two boys, who are aunts of the victims, along with members of the Joint Task Force (JTF), immediately mobilized to trail the attackers, which resulted in the arrest of a suspect.

The elderly woman later identified the suspect involved in the kidnapping. The Kaduna State Police Command confirmed that the suspect is currently in custody and investigations are ongoing.

The community around Millennium City, including Danhono II and Keke B, has experienced repeated night attacks, raising concerns about worsening insecurity in the area.
