Bandits Kidnap Poultry Farm Manager in Ondo State

On Monday, at approximately 10:30 AM, Afolabi Ajayi, the manager of a poultry farm, was abducted by armed bandits in Imafon, located in the Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State. The incident occurred when Ajayi was alighting from his car at the farm.

Following the attack, the kidnappers fled into the bush with the victim, and as of Tuesday, they had not contacted Ajayi's family to demand a ransom, which is reported to be 50 million naira. The Ondo State Police Command, led by Public Relations Officer Abayomi Jimoh, confirmed the incident and stated that they have deployed a tactical team to the area to ensure the safe rescue of Ajayi and the apprehension of the perpetrators.

The police assured the public that the safety of the victim is their utmost priority and that they are employing necessary operational strategies to address the situation.
