Bandits Abduct Couple from Farm in Kaduna Village

On Monday, around 9:12 AM, a couple, identified as Marku Iliya, was abducted by bandits while they were clearing their farm in Katambi Village, Kaduna. The couple was accompanied by their three children, who managed to escape upon sighting the bandits.

Following the distress call received by the community leader, security operatives were alerted and dispatched to Sabon Kurutu Junction. However, by the time the troops arrived at the farm, the bandits had already fled with the couple into the nearby forest.

The Kaduna State Police Command's spokesman, DSP Hassan Mansur, has not yet confirmed the latest abduction, as calls made to him went unanswered.
