Bandits Kill Police Inspector and Five Soldiers in Zamfara Ambush

In Zamfara, bandits ambushed security personnel, killing a police inspector and five soldiers, including Inspector Aliyu Ibrahim from the Police Mobile Force (PMF) Kaduna. The attack occurred in the Kwatarkwashi Local Government Area while the personnel were traveling.

The injured were taken to a hospital for treatment. This incident is part of a series of violent attacks by armed bandits in the North West region, with reports of killings and abductions in neighboring states like Sokoto.

Suspected use of improvised explosive devices has also been reported, causing casualties.
