Bandits Kill Soldiers, Steal Armored Vehicle in Kwara

In the early hours of Monday, around 3 AM, bandits launched an attack on a security post in Kemanji, Kwara State, resulting in the deaths of three soldiers and two vigilantes, with several others injured. The assailants, reportedly overwhelming the security personnel, stole twelve motorcycles and an armored vehicle.

Eyewitness Mohan Moham, a former council chairman, corroborated the incident, noting that the bandits specifically targeted the security forces, which included soldiers and forest guards. The injured were evacuated to hospitals in Ilorin and Kaiama for treatment.
