Senator Barau Jibrin to Distribute N20,000 Each to 10,000 Vulnerable Kano Residents

Deputy Senate President Senator Barau Jibrin plans to distribute N20,000 each to 10,000 vulnerable residents in Kano State. The initiative, implemented by the Barau Jibrin Foundation, aims to uplift underprivileged individuals across the state.

The beneficiaries will be selected from Kano North Senatorial District, with 500 from each of the 13 local government areas. Additionally, 112 individuals will be chosen from Kano Central and Kano South Senatorial Districts.

The distribution process will begin on October 9, 2025. This effort is part of a broader strategy to improve livelihoods in key sectors like education, healthcare, and agriculture in Kano State.
