Barau Jibrin Urges Support for Tinubu Amid Global Crises

Barau Jibrin, the Deputy President of the Senate, called for Nigerian nationalists to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration during a press conference in Abuja over the weekend. He highlighted the importance of unity in facing global crises, including ongoing conflicts in the Middle East and Europe.

Barau emphasized that Nigerians must rally around the federal government to expedite the journey towards national prosperity. He expressed confidence in President Tinubu's determination to bring prosperity to Nigeria and congratulated the Muslim community on the successful completion of Ramadan.

Barau, alongside Imam Illiasu Usman, who led prayers, urged Nigerian leaders to address insecurity in the country, stressing that genuine development cannot occur in an insecure society. The call for unity and support for the government was reiterated as crucial during these challenging times, particularly during the Eid al-Fitr celebrations that brought Muslims together across Nigeria.
