Barau Jibrin Urges Nigerians to Support Tinubu's Leadership

On Friday, Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin called on Nigerians to rally behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to help the country navigate global challenges. Speaking to journalists after the Eid el-Fitr prayers led by the Chief Imam of the National Mosque, Jibrin highlighted the importance of national unity in addressing issues such as conflicts in the Middle East and Europe.

He expressed that Nigerians must continue to support the federal government in its efforts to accelerate the nation's journey towards prosperity. Jibrin congratulated Muslims in Nigeria and around the world for successfully completing Ramadan and prayed for Allah's assistance in uniting the country.

He also urged leaders at all levels to intensify efforts to tackle insecurity, stating that genuine development cannot occur in a society riddled with violence. The remarks were made in the context of ongoing efforts to reform the country and improve its security situation.
