Barau Commends Tinubu's Support for Northern Development at ACF Event

Barau, speaking at the Arewa Consult Forum's 25th-anniversary event in Kaduna, praised Tinubu for his unwavering support for Northern development. He stressed the importance of addressing long-standing challenges, especially insecurity, and leveraging presidential support.

Barau urged Northern leaders to collaborate, increase revenue for subnational governments, and work towards prosperity. Professor Jibrin Ibrahim also emphasized the need for regional unity and finding solutions to insecurity.

Barau highlighted the success of the Amotekun security outfit in the Southwest and called for similar initiatives in the North. The event focused on strategies for the region's development over the next 25 years.
