BATMEDICS Delivers Free Medical Services to 10,000 in Kaduna

BATMEDICS, a support group for President Bola Tinubu, conducted a free medical outreach in Kaduna State, benefiting approximately 10,000 individuals across seven locations. The initiative was led by Dr Ojeje Onimisi, the Director-General of BATMEDICS, and supervised by Professor Muhammad Ali Pate, the Minister of Health.
In collaboration with the Medical Directorate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Committee, the outreach provided free medical consultations, eye screenings, and surgical interventions. Notably, around 3,000 beneficiaries received eye screenings, and 212 surgical procedures were performed.
The program also included maternity support, providing Mama Kits for pregnant women. Dr Onimisi emphasized the importance of delivering healthcare services directly to communities facing significant challenges in accessing medical facilities.
Petra Akinti Onyegbule, the Director of Medical, Research and Communication at BATMEDICS, highlighted the outreach's focus on preventive healthcare and timely medical intervention. Beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the timely relief provided amid rising healthcare costs.
