Kwankwasiyya Movement Condemns Batur's Political Remarks

The Kwankwasiyya Movement has condemned statements made by Sunusi Batur, the Director General of Media and Publicity for the Kano State Government, labeling them as reckless and driven by political desperation. Habib Moham, a spokesperson for the movement, stated that Batur's comments were an attempt to mislead the public and distort the political reality in Kano, Nigeria.

Batur had made claims regarding Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso's political alliances, which the Kwankwasiyya Movement dismissed as misleading. They emphasized that Kwankwaso remains a dominant political force in Kano and that no instructions were given for negotiations on political deals.

The movement asserted that Batur's lack of authority and proximity to the matter undermines his credibility. They concluded that the Kwankwasiyya Movement continues to grow in acceptance across Nigeria, unsettling other political actors.
