Bauchi Assembly Confirms Four Commissioner-Nominees

On Wednesday, the Bauchi State House of Assembly screened and confirmed four commissioner-nominees forwarded by Governor Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed. The screening occurred during a plenary session led by Speaker Rt.

Hon. Dr Abubakar Y. Suleiman at the temporary Assembly complex.

The nominees underwent a rigorous examination of their educational qualifications, professional experience, and preparedness to serve in the State Executive Council. Following satisfactory responses, the Assembly unanimously confirmed their appointments, paving the way for their formal inauguration.

Ibrahim Baraya, speaking on behalf of the confirmed nominees, expressed gratitude to Governor Mohammed and the Assembly for their support. He assured the public of their commitment to integrity and effective service, pledging to implement the "My Bauchi Project" blueprint aimed at enhancing development and governance in the state.

The confirmed nominees are Muhammad Tukur Adamu from Kirfi Local Government Area, Madaki Ahmed Gololo from Gamawa Local Government Area, Bashir Ya’u from Katagum Local Government Area, and Ibrahim Baraya from Warji Local Government Area.
