Bauchi Governor Bala Mohammed Joins Allied People's Movement

On Saturday, Bala Mohammed, the Governor of Bauchi State, officially announced his defection from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to the Allied People's Movement (APM). This declaration took place during a closed-door meeting at the Bauchi Government House, attended by key political stakeholders and the national chairman of APM, Yusuf Dantal.

Mohammed's move comes amid discussions among PDP governors across the country, particularly involving support from a faction led by Tanimu Turaki within the PDP structure in Bauchi State.
