PDP House of Reps Member Aliyu Misau Joins APM

On Wednesday, Aliyu Misau, the representative for Misau/Dambam Federal Constituency, officially announced his defection from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Movement (APM) during a plenary session. His decision was communicated in a letter addressed to Tajudeen Abba, the Speaker of the House of Representatives.

Misau's departure is part of a growing trend, as he is the latest among four members of the Bauchi caucus in the House of Representatives to leave the PDP for the APM. He cited ongoing leadership crises within the PDP as a significant factor influencing his decision, stating that it made it impossible for him to continue representing the people effectively.

Misau expressed gratitude to the PDP for the opportunities provided during his service to the constituents of Misau/Dambam Federal Constituency.
