Bauchi Governor Bala Mohammed Mourns Bamanga Tukur

On 14 September 2026, Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed expressed profound sorrow over the death of Alhaji (Dr.) Bamanga Tukur, a distinguished elder statesman and former governor of the old Gongola State. Tukur, who also served as the National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), was recognized by Governor Mohammed for his significant contributions to Nigeria's development and democratic governance.
