Bauchi Government Sacks Teacher for Alleged Sexual Harassment

The Bauchi State government has dismissed a teacher, Emos Joshua, over alleged sexual harassment at Government College Azare. The dismissal was confirmed by Mr.

Saleh Umar, the Information and Public Relations Officer of the Bauchi State Civil Service Commission. The decision to terminate Joshua's employment was made during the 32nd plenary held on September 11, following disciplinary proceedings in line with the state's Public Service Rules.

Dr. Ibrahim Muhammad, the chairman of the commission, emphasized the commitment to upholding discipline and integrity in the civil service.

The dismissal serves as a reminder of the government's zero-tolerance policy towards misconduct and the importance of adhering to established regulations in the workplace.
