Bala Mohammed Declares for Bauchi South Senate Seat

On Thursday, Bala Mohammed, the Governor of Bauchi State, formally declared his intent to contest for the Bauchi South Senatorial District seat on the platform of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in the upcoming 2027 elections. During the declaration, he addressed a large crowd, asserting that Bauchi will not regress and will return to an era of progress rather than hardship.

Mohammed criticized his former party, the People's Democratic Party (PDP), for its inability to accommodate progress and stated that the APM represents a credible platform for sustainable development. He emphasized the importance of visionary leadership to tackle challenges such as climate change, unemployment, and infrastructural deficits.

Mohammed also presented Dr. Yakubu Adamu as the governorship candidate for the APM, highlighting the party's commitment to socio-economic development and the need for credible representation in the National Assembly to protect the interests of the people.
