Bala Mohammed Receives APM Nomination Forms for 2027

Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, alongside other aspirants, has expressed interest in the nomination forms for the 2027 general elections from the All Progressives Movement (APM). The forms were presented by Auwal Isa, the party's chairman, as part of the preparatory process leading to the elections.

This process will include screening and clearance by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in accordance with the 2027 electoral guidelines. The APM is focusing on consensus candidates, particularly for the gubernatorial position, given the Bauchi North senatorial zone.

Other notable aspirants include former Commissioner for Finance and Economic Development Yakubu Adamu and current Executive Chairperson of Bauchi Local Government Council Mahmud Babamaji, who is emerging as a potential running mate. Farouk Mustapha, in a viral video, expressed his support for whatever decision Governor Mohammed makes.

The APM chairman expressed satisfaction with the amicable resolution of issues, indicating political maturity and optimism for the party's acceptance across the state and country in the upcoming elections.
