Bayelsa Multi-Door Courthouse Achieves 85% Success Rate

The Bayelsa Multi-Door Courthouse, under the leadership of Chairman King Collin Daniel, has recorded an impressive 85% success rate in resolving disputes within the past year. This achievement was disclosed during a media briefing ahead of the second stakeholder sensitization conference, which is set to take place in Yenagoa.

The courthouse aims to provide citizens, businesses, and government agencies with an efficient and less adversarial mechanism for conflict resolution. Over the past year, the courthouse successfully resolved a total of 750 civil business cases.

The upcoming conference is expected to enhance public awareness of the services offered by the courthouse and strengthen confidence in alternative dispute resolution as a viable complement to conventional litigation. Daniel emphasized the importance of fostering peace and unity through amicable dispute resolution and invited various stakeholders, including legal professionals and civil society organizations, to participate in the dialogue.
