Bayern Munich Supports Alphonso Davies' Recovery for World Cup

Bayern Munich has committed to supporting Alphonso Davies, who is currently recovering from injuries sustained ahead of the World Cup. Max Eberl, the sporting director of Bayern Munich, stated that they will work together to ensure Davies has the chance to be fit for the tournament.

The 25-year-old Canadian player suffered a serious muscle injury to his left thigh during a substitution in Bayern's Champions League elimination match against Paris Saint-Germain on May 6. This injury will prevent him from participating in Bayern's home game against Cologne and the German Cup final against Stuttgart on May 23.

Eberl emphasized the importance of Davies' recovery, noting that he will miss several weeks of action. Canada is set to announce its 26-man World Cup squad on May 29, and Davies had been expected to play in three group games starting with Bosnia and Herzegovina in Toronto on June 12.
