Kompany stated his preference to use the period for rest and to spend time with his family.

Despite interest from English media, particularly regarding insights on England striker Harry Kane, whom he manages at Bayern, Kompany remains focused on leading his team.

Bayern Munich is preparing for a crucial match that could send them to their first final since 2020, while also gearing up for a UEFA Champions League semi-final against Paris Saint-Germain scheduled for April 28 and May 6.
