APC Chair Warns Aspirants of Sanctions During Primaries

Professor Nentaw Yilwatda, the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), issued a warning to party aspirants regarding their conduct during the forthcoming primaries. He stressed the necessity for utmost discipline and maturity, stating that any actions capable of disrupting the smooth conduct of the primaries would not be tolerated.

Yilwatda highlighted that aspirants who instigate violence, sponsor unrest, or engage in activities undermining the integrity of the electoral process would face disciplinary measures, including immediate suspension. He reaffirmed the party's commitment to transparency and credible primaries, which are essential for strengthening internal democracy and consolidating public confidence in the APC.

Yilwatda reminded aspirants that the electoral process would inevitably produce winners and losers, emphasizing that democracy thrives on healthy competition and mutual respect. He urged candidates to view themselves as ambassadors of the party and to conduct themselves in a manner that reflects the core values and vision of the APC.
