APC Warns Aspirants Against Violence for 2027 Primaries

The All Progressives Congress (APC), led by Chairman Prof. Nentaw Yilwatda, issued a warning to aspirants against engaging in violent acts that could undermine the integrity of the 2027 primaries.

In a statement released by Abimbola Tooki, Special Adviser on Media and Strategic Communication, the party emphasized that any aspirant found instigating violence or sponsoring unrest would face severe disciplinary measures, including immediate suspension from the party. The primaries are set to commence on May 15, 2027, for the House of Representatives, followed by the Senate on May 18, State House of Assembly on May 20, Governorship elections on May 21, and Presidential primaries on May 23.

The APC leadership reiterated its commitment to a smooth electoral process and urged aspirants to display maturity and patriotism, aligning with President Bola Tinubu's vision for a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria.
