Yilwatda Warns APC Aspirants Against Violence Ahead of 2027

Yilwatda, the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), issued a strong warning to aspirants seeking the party's ticket for the 2027 elections, advising them against engaging in violence or unruly behavior. In a statement released on Monday by his special adviser on media and strategic communications, Abimbola Tooki, Yilwatda emphasized that any aspirant who fails to adhere to party conduct may face suspension.

He urged all members to prioritize the collective interests of the party and maintain stability within the APC. Yilwatda commended the party's commitment to strengthening democratic institutions and called on aspirants to align with the presidential vision rather than engage in actions that could undermine the party's integrity.

He reassured aspirants that the APC would ensure a fair and inclusive internal process and expressed support for President Bola Tinubu's re-election bid, highlighting the ongoing development programs across the country.
