Ben White Returns to England Squad After Three Years

Ben White, aged 27, has been recalled to the England national football team after a three-year absence, having last participated in a friendly against the Ivory Coast in March 2022. He left the England camp during the 2022 FIFA World Cup for personal reasons and remained unavailable throughout Gareth Southgate's tenure.

Thomas Tuchel has named White in a 35-man squad for upcoming friendlies against the Uruguay national football team and the Japan national football team, scheduled for March 27 and 31 at Wembley Stadium. White's club performance has seen limited appearances, with only seven in the Premier League and eight in the UEFA Champions League, contributing to Arsenal's quarter-final run.

Additionally, Harvei Barn has been drafted in to replace Eberechi Eze, who is sidelined with a lower leg injury. Eze, a 28-year-old Newcastle winger, has not played for the senior England team since a friendly against Wales in 2020.
