Bendel Insurance Appoints Kennedy Boboye as New Technical Adviser, Suffers 1-0 Loss in Debut Match

Bendel Insurance has appointed Kennedy Boboye as their new technical adviser, succeeding Greg Ikhenoba who was dismissed due to poor results. Boboye, 51, signed a two-year deal with the Benin-based team and was unveiled on Tuesday.

In his debut match, Bendel Insurance suffered a 1-0 loss to Ikorodu City at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan, Lagos. Meanwhile, Bayelsa United defeated River United 2-1 in a South-South derby.
