Benue APC Conflict: Alia and Akum Disagree on Tickets

A peace reconciliation meeting convened by President Bola Tinubu took place in Makurdi to address these issues.

During the meeting, SGF Akum expressed the need for unity and inclusivity within the party, while Governor Alia acknowledged the party's recent crises and apologized for the turmoil. The SGF emphasized that there would be no automatic tickets for candidates, which Alia supported, highlighting the importance of reconciliation and collaboration among party members.
