Benue APC Reaffirms Support for Tinubu and Alia

On Democracy Day, the Benue State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), under the leadership of Chairman Benjamin Omal, reaffirmed its unwavering support for President Bola Tinubu and Governor Hyacinth Alia. In a statement made available to journalists in Makurdi, Omal expressed the party's commitment to working alongside Nigerian stakeholders to deepen democracy, strengthen good governance, and ensure the continuous delivery of democratic dividends to the citizens.

He described democracy as the best form of governance and urged Nigerians to remain united, uphold the rule of law, and commit to the ideals of democracy, justice, and peace for national development. Omal commended Governor Alia for fostering peace and promoting inclusivity, which he believes has strengthened governmental institutions in the state.

He characterized Alia's leadership as visionary, placing Benue State among the more developed subnational entities in the country, and thanked traditional rulers, religious leaders, civil society organizations, security agencies, and other stakeholders for their contributions to strengthening democracy and supporting the successful implementation of government policies and programs.
