Benue State Approves N5bn for Fertilizer Supply in 2024 Farming Season

The government identified a genuine supplier, Star Fertilizer Chemical Company Limited, to prevent capital flight. The Governor commended the company for maintaining high production standards.

The distribution of fertilizer inputs to farmers in Makurdi is ongoing, with payments set to be completed by October. The move aims to boost productivity and support farmers in the state's agricultural sector.
