PDP Disowns Agbo, Affirms Aondoakaa as Guber Candidate

The Benue State chapter of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) has officially disowned Dr. Emmanuel Agbo, describing him as an impostor and a political con artist claiming to be the party's gubernatorial candidate for the 2027 elections.

This clarification follows the circulation of fake certificates allegedly associated with Agbo on social media. The PDP, through a statement issued by Comrade Dan Nyikwagh, emphasized that Agbo is neither recognized as a gubernatorial candidate nor has he ever been acknowledged by the party for the upcoming general elections.

The party condemned Agbo's actions as an attempt to mislead the public and urged media organizations and the public to disregard his claims. Chief Michael Kaas Aondoakaa, SAN, was reaffirmed as the party's legitimate gubernatorial candidate, having emerged through a transparent and unanimous consensus process.

The PDP warned against actions that could create confusion within its ranks and stated that legal measures are being initiated against Agbo and others involved in impersonation.
