Best Talent FC Set for Redemption City Football Tourney

Best Talent FC, the defending champions of the Redemption City football tournament, will participate in the second edition of the tournament beginning on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the Soccer Temple Car Park C Arena in Ogun State. Last year, they secured their title by defeating Grace Arcade 2-1 on April 20, 2025, at the Redeem High School Stadium.

Key players Akinola Jamiu and Olaniyan Komolaf Ezekiel contributed significantly to their success, with a total of 19 goals scored and only 2 goals conceded throughout the tournament. Under the guidance of their tutor, Farouk Yusuf, the team remained unbeaten during the competition.

This year, they will face 11 other teams, including Dynamit FC, Baraka FC, Zion Star FC, Raven FC, Bajulay FC, BHN FC, Young FC, RCCG KIC, Rhem FC, RCCG Envoi Dove FC, and Potter FC, among others. The tournament is organized as an annual event.
