Best Talent FC Completes Pre-Season Medical Screenings

Best Talent FC players participated in mandatory pre-season medical screenings as part of the preparations for the 2026 Nigeria Nationwide League season. The screenings were conducted at the Ogun State Medical Centre and were overseen by Dr.

Olusola Ogunowo, the league's COO. The Nigeria Nationwide League requires all teams to complete pre-competitive medical assessments to ensure player health and safety.

A letter from Dr. Ogunowo emphasized that health is a top priority, with evidence of payment and player licensing checks being essential.

Notably, 44 players from various teams were disqualified due to health issues, while Best Talent FC received a clean bill of health from medical practitioners. The screenings included cardiovascular fitness checks and ECG tests to identify potential health risks.

Clubs failing to produce valid medical licenses will be barred from participating in the upcoming season. Best Talent FC is set to face 3SC on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan.
