Beta Glass Reports N37.54bn Revenue, Reconstitutes Board

Beta Glass Plc announced a revenue of N37.54 billion for the first quarter ending March 31, 2026, during its 52nd annual general meeting held in Lagos. The company attributed this revenue to operational performance and asset utilization.

An independent socio-economic impact report by Deloitte estimated that Beta Glass has contributed N1 trillion to Nigeria's economy over the past decade, accounting for nearly 10% of the country's manufacturing output and 14% of the non-metal product sub-sector. The meeting resulted in the reconstitution of the board of directors, with the appointment of four new non-executive directors: Nitin Kaul, Olusola Carrena, Bolaji Olatunbosun, and Osunsanya Boy Olusanya.

Dr. Vitu Ezinwa, the chairman of the board, emphasized the new board's composition would support the company's long-term strategy. CEO Alex Gendi reiterated the company's focus on operational efficiency and strategic partnerships, while shareholder William Adebayo welcomed the decision to retain 51% of earnings to support future growth.
