Boko Haram Strikes, Troops Neutralize ISWAP Fighters in Borno

Suspected Boko Haram terrorists brutally killed at least five farmers in Gwoza Local Government Area, Borno State, on September 1. The victims were ambushed while working on a farm near Ngoshe, with their throats slit.

The attack resulted in the tragic loss of innocent lives, sparking outrage in the community. Meanwhile, troops from Operation Hadin Kai neutralized at least 12 Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) fighters in a series of offensive operations in Borno.

The successful operations, supported by intelligence and air components, targeted terrorist activities in various locations, resulting in the recovery of weapons and medical supplies. The military's swift response aimed to combat the insurgency and ensure the safety of civilians in the region.
