Boko Haram Overruns Military Camp in Adamawa, 4 Killed

On Saturday at 11:00 PM, Boko Haram launched a deadly attack on a military camp located in Adamawa, overpowering the military personnel stationed there. The assault caught the soldiers off guard, leading to an exchange of gunfire as they attempted to repel the attackers.

Despite their efforts, the insurgents successfully overran the camp, which was subsequently burned down. Eyewitness accounts revealed that the attack resulted in the deaths of three military personnel and a civilian woman who was shot while trying to flee the violence.

The military camp was left in ruins, with no structures remaining except for a church. The chairman of the Hong local government area, Alhaji Usman Inuwa, has called on both the federal and state governments to adopt security strategies that will ensure lasting peace and harmony in the region.
