Nnamdi Kanu Thanks Mike Arnold for Legal Support

Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), publicly thanked former US Mayor Mike Arnold for his support in Kanu's ongoing legal struggles against the Nigerian government. This acknowledgment was shared by Kanu's legal consultant, Aloi Ejimakor, via a statement on social media.

Arnold had previously criticized the Nigerian government for Kanu's continued detention and questioned the rationale behind it, especially in light of a reported $1 million bounty placed on a cleric by the government without similar prosecution for Kanu. Kanu described Arnold's courage in shedding light on the truth regarding the IPOB movement and emphasized the significance of such support, which he noted is rare.

He expressed appreciation for Arnold's commitment to speaking out and highlighted the importance of voicing the truth. Kanu is currently serving a life sentence for terrorism-related charges, with his legal battles expected to continue until November 2025.
