Bisi Akande Endorses Osun Senator Fadeyi's Re-election

Osun Senator Olubiyi Fadeyi has received the endorsement of Bisi Akande, the former governor of Osun State and ex-national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), for his re-election bid. Fadeyi, who currently serves as the chairman of the Senate Committee on Environment, expressed his gratitude for Akande's support during a meeting where he presented his nomination form for the upcoming elections.

The meeting, which took place in Ila Orangun, Akande's hometown, was attended by five federal lawmakers from Osun State, who also belong to the APC. Fadeyi is preparing for the 2027 general elections and has consulted across ten local government areas in his senatorial district, gathering significant backing from party leaders, youth leaders, and women leaders.

He highlighted Akande's commendable work over the past three years and expressed optimism for the upcoming elections, emphasizing the importance of maintaining the party's interests.
