BOCNE Coordinator Applauds Emir of Biu for Leadership

Alhaji Bulama Hassan, the zonal coordinator of BOCNE in the northeast, commended the Emir of Biu, Alhaji Dr. Mustapha Umar Mustapha, for his fatherly leadership role in advancing the emirate and Borno State.

In a statement, Hassan urged the Emir's council to advise Governor Babagana Umara Zulum to continue supporting the development of the Biu emirate, particularly in agriculture and livestock production. He emphasized the importance of completing the Biu Dam, which would cover the Fouyarea Council, Kwaya Kusar, and Hauwal Bayo areas, to boost food security in the region.

Hassan described Biu as the central food basket of the northeast and called on the state government to prioritize the completion of the dam to create employment opportunities for the youth. He also praised the Emir for maintaining peace and security in the area and encouraged the youth and elders to support government programs related to agriculture and livestock.
