Bayo Council Chair Praises Zulum's Developmental Efforts

Usman Balbaya Maidoki, the Executive Chairman of Bayo Local Government Area, commended Borno State Governor Baba Gana Umara Zulum for his sustained commitment to development across the state. In a press statement, Maidoki noted that Zulum's achievements encompass human capital development, agriculture, healthcare delivery, security, and infrastructure.

He specifically highlighted the renovation and construction of an ultra-modern government secretariat, solar lighting projects, and the development of inter-community roads and feeder roads within Bayo. Maidoki emphasized that these projects have significantly improved service delivery and enhanced grassroots administration.

He also praised the governor's proactive approach to security, which includes procuring security equipment and supporting local vigilante groups. In healthcare, Maidoki acknowledged the training of medical professionals and the construction of modern hospitals and primary healthcare centers.

He encouraged farmers and herders to leverage the state government's agricultural initiatives, which include the distribution of farm inputs and veterinary services, positioning Bayo as an agricultural hub in the northeast.
