Bayo Council Chair Praises Zulum's Development Efforts

Usman Balbaya Maidoki, the chairman of Bayo Local Government Area, issued a press statement on Friday in Abuja, commending Borno State Governor Babagana Umara Zulum for his commitment to sustainable development across the state. Maidoki highlighted Zulum's achievements in various sectors, including human capital development, agriculture, livestock farming, education, healthcare delivery, security, and infrastructure.

He praised the governor for the renovation and construction of an ultra-modern government secretariat and expansive township inter-community roads across several councils, noting that these projects significantly improve service delivery and enhance grassroots administration. Maidoki applauded Zulum's proactive approach to security, citing the procurement of security equipment to support security agencies and local vigilante groups, as well as regular security assessments.

He urged residents to continue promoting peace and coexistence. Additionally, Maidoki commended the administration for training medical professionals and upgrading healthcare facilities, including the construction of a modern hospital in Bayo and several primary healthcare centers and dispensaries across the state, aimed at improving access to quality healthcare services.
