BoI Offers $350,000 to Nigerian Tech Startups

The Bank of Industry (BoI) has launched a program that provides $350,000 to 12 selected tech startups in Nigeria. This initiative, part of the IDIC Startup Bridge, aims to support entrepreneurs through a 12-week accelerator program.
The program will focus on helping startups develop their Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and prepare for external investment. Adebayo, the program's coordinator, stated that the initiative is open to tech-enabled startups operating for no more than 12 months and located in Nigeria's six geopolitical zones.
Eligible startups must demonstrate market validation and user engagement. The program will offer mentorship, access to business networks, and a potential follow-on investment of $250,000, contingent on meeting specific growth conditions.
Applications for the program will be accepted from July 15, 2026, to August 19, 2026, with a transparent merit-based evaluation process. Female tech professionals are strongly encouraged to apply.
