Borno ADC Disowns Transitional Committees Amid Leadership Crisis

The Borno State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has disowned transitional committees led by Kashim Imam, alleging a leadership crisis. The state working committee disassociated itself from the registration committee reportedly set up by Imam's group.

Alhaji Umara Bolori, the state party chairman, warned of legal action against any attempt to hijack the party's structure. The party accused Imam of imposing himself despite lacking grassroots presence in the state.

The situation escalated with alleged breaches of security and injuries to loyal party members. Bolori called for national leadership intervention to address the crisis.
