ADC Leadership Crisis Resolved in Bauchi State

In a recent press conference held in Bauchi, Alhaji Kashim Imam and Adamu Maina Waziri were exonerated regarding a leadership crisis that almost caused a split within the Bauchi State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC). Ahmad Shehu Na Allah, the North East Zonal Coordinator of the ADC, highlighted the importance of peace and unity within the party, urging for dialogue to address misunderstandings.

The crisis involved accusations against Imam and Waziri, which were deemed misrepresentations of their actions. The press conference emphasized the need for fair hearing and adherence to the principles enshrined in Section 36 and 40 of the 1999 Constitution.

The ADC's national chairman, Senator David Mark, supported the call for stability and urged action to prevent further conflicts. Imam's goodwill gestures were recognized as beneficial beyond the northern region, impacting the party's structure across all 36 states.

The ADC leadership was also encouraged to maintain its structure at the local government level.
