Borno Governor Zulum Launches APC Mobilization Campaign

On an unspecified date, Borno State Governor Prof. Babagana Zulum returned from a strategic trip to the United States and Canada and immediately initiated a mobilization campaign for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates in anticipation of upcoming elections. Despite inclement weather, Zulum led a rally in Maiduguri, marking the start of grassroots mobilization efforts across Borno State.

During the rally at the Government House, Zulum articulated the necessity of maintaining the security and recovery achievements made under APC governance. He attributed the current relative peace in Borno and the North-East to the collaborative efforts between the Borno State Government and the federal government.

Zulum urged APC members, traditional leaders, and residents to support all party candidates, including Tinubu and gubernatorial candidate Mustapha Gubio, stressing that any disruption in political alignment could jeopardize ongoing recovery programs.
