Taiwo Esepo Agbaj Signs Deal with Balmoral Promotions

Taiwo Esepo Agbaj, the Nigerian lightweight champion, signed a promotional deal with Balmoral Promotions on June 10. Agbaj, who holds the WBA Africa lightweight title, described the signing as a significant moment in his professional career.

The Mushin-born fighter expressed confidence in Balmoral Promotions, stating it represents a platform for his career advancement and a pathway to becoming a world champion. Ezekiel Adamu, the Chief Executive of Balmoral Promotions, emphasized that Agbaj embodies the qualities the promotion seeks in a fighter, highlighting his genuine talent and deep connection with the community.

The deal is part of a broader vision to develop boxing talent in Nigeria, with plans to build a gym in Mushin. Agbaj, who has a professional record of 19 wins and no defeats, aims to become a three-division champion, targeting titles in featherweight, super featherweight, and lightweight categories.
